‘Dhoom 4’ will be Ranbir Kapoor’s 25th film in his career.

The Dhoom series started in 2004 with a thriller starring John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra. The evolution of plot and the study of action in the first film were fashionable moves by Bollywood directors. This created a tension for the villains and made them appear larger than life.
In 2006, Hrithik Roshan also released Dhoom 2 followed by Aamir Khan in 2013 and it gave a new dimension to the franchise. Fans eagerly await the release of ‘Dhoom 4’, and Pinkvilla has already reported that Yash Raj Films is producing it under the direction of Aditya Chopra.

He wrote the movie in collaboration with Vijay Krishna Acharya – Dhoom 4 Dhoom Reloaded Ranbir Kapoor as a central pillar of the script while Ranbir Singh is being considered for an Important Antagonist.

It is worth mentioning that the original cast will not be returning for this next installment. Rather, the two young actors will play the role of a policeman, bringing a new spirit to the franchise. The basic premise is already in place, and soon the team will focus on creating a cast. ‘Dhoom 4’ proves that it will not be another extension of the series but a completely different film in the Indian film industry.

Ranbir Kapoor will be in ‘Dhoom 4’ production in the second half of 2025 and early 2026.

Film production company, Yash Raj Films, will hire a director by 2025 as they invest in blockbusters like ‘War 2’ and ‘Mardaani 3’ apart from ‘Dhoom 4’ starring Ranbir Kapoor.
