Koel Mallick shares some great news.

The Tollywood actress, Koel Mallick, shared some heartfelt news on the first day of Devipaksha herself: She is going to be a mother for the second time! Koel, sharing an adorable family photograph with her husband Nispal Rane and son Kabir, wrote, “The family is going to grow. Very soon Kabir is going to get the responsibility of a big brother.”

Kabir who was born in May 2020 during the lockdown is all set to have a sibling making this phase due extra special for the family. Koel and Nispal who tied the knot in 2013 after dating for almost seven years, have always been the industry darling.

Lately, Koel wrapped up the shooting of the series ‘Meetin Masi’ and donned a stunning avatar of Asuranashi Durga during Mahalaya too. She is now rumored to be taking a maternity break after her earlier projects.

Fans and colleagues within the industry met this announcement with delight and well-wishes. Actor Jeet also expressed his joy and said, “What a fantastic piece of news. Salutations to every member in the family.” Other star kins which included Parambrata Chatterjee, Mimi Chakraborty and Nusrat Jahan also conveyed their greetings.

While the Koel Mallick family is gearing up for the 100th Durga Puja in Kolkata, they have to deal with the RG tax scandal on a sad note this year.

The actor Ranjit Mallick said that he feels that the happiness associated with the festivals this time around is lesser than it usually is. The family will maintain the customs despite difficulties, but they will not open their doors to host any parties this year. Only family members will carry out the rituals, a huge shift from the past practices of their rich legacy.
